Prototype v0.1 · All issue records are demo / synthetic data

About

The Open Map by NEXIOMA

A planetary map of issues, evidence and solutions. Local knowledge defines the issue; global capability widens the range of possible answers. Everything on it is written to be corrected later.

Why it exists

Most real issues are already known by someone locally, and already solvable by someone elsewhere. The two rarely meet. The Open Map is an attempt to put the issue itself — not an institution, not a person — at the centre of the record, so knowledge can travel towards it.

The map is explicitly incomplete. Absence of an issue means nobody has written it down here, not that it does not exist.

Method

Each record separates observation, evidence, interpretation, proposal and update. Status describes how far the issue has moved through its lifecycle, not how severe it is. Evidence carries its source, date, provenance and a confidence level, and conflicting evidence stays visible instead of being resolved away.

Solutions that were tried and did not work remain on the record with the reason. A failed attempt is a result, and removing it would make the map less useful.

We never claim that something is true because it appears here. The strongest statement the map can make is: this is the current evidence-backed state of the issue.

Privacy

This prototype has no account system and no backend. Anything typed into the forms stays in your browser for the length of the session and is never transmitted anywhere.

By design, The Open Map creates no universal person identifier, no global identity registry and no biometric processing. Browsing requires no legal identity. Contributors choose their own contact preference per issue, and local contacts are shown only when the record says they consented.

Terms

This is a non-production demonstration. All twelve issue records are synthetic and were invented for this prototype. They describe no real place, event, organisation or person, and must not be cited or used for planning, funding, reporting or any operational decision.

The interface, the proposed architecture and the planetary citizenship text are drafts at version 0.1 and will change.

NEXIOMA

NEXIOMA is the group developing the trust and evidence layer described in the proposed architecture. The Open Map lives at openmap.nexioma.eu and is independent of any other NEXIOMA service.
